I’m a city girl turned aggie. I was born and raised in Winnipeg and found my love for rural Manitoba five years ago when I started working in agriculture.
Working with people who know more than me. FarmLink has a powerful, dynamic team that is client focused and results-driven. I’m thrilled to be a part of it.
I recently went to Haiti to learn about the role of women in agriculture in the developing world. It was incredible to experience how strong, resilient and innovative Haitian women are. I realize now how lucky I am to have safe, affordable and abundant food.
I worked for Dairy Farmers of Manitoba, Agriculture in the Classroom-Manitoba, and Manitoba Canola Growers Association.
If I wasn’t working with FarmLink I would be a talk show host on a show like The Social or The Talk. I love discussing controversial topics with different people – it’s surprising how diverse yet similar we all are.
Sports. You can find me on a soccer field, volleyball court, or in the gym anytime of the year.
I’m a pottery-style mug collector. I buy one wherever I go. My mug-of-choice right now is a purply-grey teacup from Antigua.
